Amnesty International Fact Sheet and Article

programs used:

adobe illustrator, adobe photoshop, adobe indesign

project type:

educational

year completed:

2018

This project was part of a university assignment. For this assignment we were to redesign an under-designed fact sheet and online article for printed publication by a single organization. We were supposed to use the established style and branding guides by the organizations to complete our project. I looked at the selected organizations and I chose Amnesty International.

I used character styles to design and layout the information in a more aesthetic way and included photography from one of my favorite journalistic photographers (Lynsey Addario).

These are the original documents and articles I was given to redesign

I found the style and branding guide from Amnesty International and noticed they had some brand specific fonts like Amnesty Trade Gothic. I reached out to them via email and luckily they were kind enough to send me the typeface.
