In one of our graphic design courses, the University parking management organization reached out to the design department and asked for help in creating new park passes. The old park passes were unaesthetic and unprofessional looking, they were also very difficult for security to check through windows.

We received a brief and aside from being prettier, they also wanted the passes to be easily legible from the front window and to have instructions/rules included on the back. There were to be multiple colors to distinguish premium/faculty parking from standard. There needed to be a die-cut line included so that the parking pass could be produced.
