This project was assigned in an advanced graphic design course I was attending. I was supposed to design some sort of luxury product package design and create a rough prototype of my concept.
My concept was to make a wine brand referencing the biblical story of turning water into wine. In the logo I included a suggestion of the stone vases that were transformed so I wanted the bottle to have the appearance of stone. I used spray paint to create the effect on the bottle. I wanted to have the effect of the logo in a wax seal on the curve of the bottle so I cut out a placeholder and adhered it there. In my imagination it would've been 3d printed or actually stamped in wax and inlayed into an actual depression in the glass. I also would’ve wanted the label to be more of a textured old look and for the printing on it to be metallic foil.
