In this project I was approached and hired by a ceramicist I met on the SUU campus to produce a logo for her. The first logo I made for her followed her specifications exactly. She originally wanted a logo that was a vector of her signature and had a circle around the signature with an overall quality that looked like it was scratched organically by ink.

Alexa later approached me and said customers had difficulty reading her signature and wanted something more minimal in style with a clear subtitle. She wanted her minimal icon to suggest some of her initials: Jane and Harding. I set to work making something that would be more “modern”.
